Our holiday shipment went out between November 15th and December 12th, 2023
We shipped 29 boxes in mid-November of Gingerbread House kits (donation) and decorations for the troops to decorate their homes away from home for the holidays. A total of 376 lb. for a postage cost of $555.98
Our Holiday Project shipment consisted of 152 boxes of Christmas stockings each filled with a bag of snacks; a bag with tissues, lip balm, hand sanitizer, pens, and cards from across the USA; a pair of socks; and a puzzle book. We sent a total of 2,165 Christmas stockings. (315 went to Ft. Belvoir, VA and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. These are places where many of our injured troops are recovering stateside.)
The boxes weighed 3,179 lb. (over 1 ½ tons) for a total postage cost of $3,402.60.
