Sponsor a Four Freedoms Gratitude Quilt

The OQC Board Members have suggested a way that you can sponsor a quilt if you can’t sew. When you donate $150 to Operation: Quiet Comfort, you can have your name or your business name on a special square letting our Armed Forces men and women know that you care.

The Four Freedoms Gratitude Quilts are given to injured service members receiving medical care abroad. They are symbols of the love and respect that we have for our troops. Made of denim squares cut from our well-loved blue jeans, these squares are signed by groups and individuals from all across America and include heart-felt written messages of thanks, appreciation and encouragement for the future. The Four Freedoms Quilt is inspired by Franklin D. Roosevelt’s “Four Freedoms” speech to the U.S. Congress on Jan. 6, 1941.

For $150 you can sponsor a beautiful quilt:
• Help defray the costs of materials and shipping
• Receive recognition by having your name and/or business name inscribed on a square
• Provide your own messages of thanks and encouragement to the troops
